GRID SET by Alissia Melka-Teichroew
3D Printed Porcelain & Sterling Silver/14K Gold Plated Bronze
Alissia set out to rethink the traditional anatomy of a coffee or tea set by creating a family of complementary objects.
The twin contours of the cup and saucer mimic the soft rounded corners and edges of the spoon, whose grid makes its sole function clear: it only exists to hold sugar, stir the tea or coffee, and be licked when done.
