AQUEOUS WALL PLANTER by Evan Clabots
3D Printed Porcelain & Bronze
Evan was intrigued by the idea of combining two materials into a singular form using the 3D printing process. The planter’s duality makes use of each material’s inherent properties; polished metal for an ultra precise bracket and porcelain for a smooth, voluminous container.

EVAN CLABOTS / US
Evan’s multi-faceted career began even prior to his graduation from RISD in 2004, when he designed and licensed a product with IKEA as an undergrad. Since, Evan has held a variety of roles in the industry and launched his own studio, Nonlinear, in 2010. Evan believes that design needs to provide both what the customer and company want: “It is not about the best design; it is about the right design.”
